Brand Associate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Brand Associate. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Brand Associate is responsible for providing coordination and execution support to the brand and segment portfolio. This role encompasses project coordination, budget control, product development, advertising & promotion basics and marketing analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing competitive analysis of the category including products, packaging, pricing, advertising and promotions while ensuring a clear understanding of key competitors by channel and customer within each sub segment
  • Support the Brand Manager and Marketing Manager on brand projects, while ensuring the team is meeting timelines
  • Support the family bar product lifecycle (by setting up new sku’s, packaging, displays, discontinuations), development of sales materials, presentation preparation, project management, and developing briefings to agencies
  • Support the team from a budget tracking perspective, by coordinating set ups and follow ups and managing sell sheets, price lists and product samples
  • Work with Brand Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to build Lindt business (customers, demand/supply planning, international marketing, intercompany, finance, sales strategy and the chocolate category)
  • Work with the team on gathering marketing knowledge and fundamentals (advertising, digital, promotions, agency relationships, consumer research, agency briefs, budgeting, media planning, creative production, printing and packaging technical skills, sponsorships, experiential, branding)
  • Liaise with other departments, specifically sales, logistics and finance, to ensure marketing programs are relevant, efficient, achievable, and valuable to the organization
  • Assist with developing recommendations and manage execution of consumer insights based brand programs, promotion and media plans to deliver against objectives, including development of KPI's for effective measurement
  • Work with Senior Brand Manager to ensure timely execution and implementation of activations (media/creative, digital/content, PR, experimental, sampling, partnerships)
  • Work with Senior Brand Manager on Media/Digital team on development of strong media (TV, Print, Digital, Social) plans and advertising/creative that deliver KPI's


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
  • 1-2 years of progressive experience in a similar role within the marketing function
  • Experience with budget tracking, marketing project coordination and execution
  • Analytical acumen with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Broad understanding of marketing principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Nielsen and Cognos considered an asset
