Replenishment Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Toronto

Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager, the Replenishment Analyst role is responsible for managing Walmart’s baseline replenishment forecasts, promotional & seasonal inventory strategies and other replenishment initiatives pertaining to Walmart.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze critical KPI’s that drive store level inventory performance: In-stocks, fill rate, on-time delivery and Walmart forecast variances as dictated by Walmart supplier requirements
• Provide weekly updates of the supplier scorecard to Walmart Replenishment
• Building and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Customers Replenishment Team
• Organize any internal supply chain opportunities that could impact in-stock & fill rate
• Monitor ordering patterns and daily order volumes to ensure inventory availability to support fill rate goals. Develop plan of action and communicate solutions to the Customers Replenishment Team when opportunities are identified
• Lead meetings with Walmart Replenishment to review forecast variances, future promotional & seasonal schedules. Support inventory strategies, upcoming modular changes, current issues, and other category initiatives
• Work closely with Lindt Canada Demand Planners to ensure proper execution of Walmart promotional, seasonal schedule and new product launches
• Work with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider to ensure timely stock allocation to orders and on-time dispatch of orders
• Maintain and distribute internal scorecards and performance reporting as required
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales to ensure impacts of baseline forecasts and promotional inventory strategies within Walmart’s replenishment system are aligned with Lindt Canada’s demand forecast
• Maintain open communication with the Transportation department regarding on time performance and escalate when necessary
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing of customer orders
• Ability to become the resident expert on the customer’s unique systems. (Retail Link)

Qualifications:
• 3+ years in a similar position within the CPG industry or relevant experience with a Walmart Account
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations preferred; or equivalent experience in retail, supply chain, logistics or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience working with Retail Link Software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
• Knowledge of ERP Systems (JD Edwards experience is an asset)
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with order processing and management
• Able to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with customer to influence their decision making
• Ability to analyze and solve replenishment problems and drive solutions for the customer
• Resilient and can adapt to an ever changing environment
